Charles E. Williams First Lieutenant, Army Air Corps. In March, 1941 at Cal-Aero Academy at Ontario, California and was graduated at Stockton, California, January 9, 1942 at which time he was commissioned Second Lieutenant. He later served with the 8th Transport Squadron. Stationed at the following fields: Bowman Field, Kentucky; Patterson Field, Dayton, Ohio; Hall Field, Ogden, Utah; Kellog Field, Michigan; Westover Field, Massachusetts; Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Labrador, then to British Isles where he served with the 64th Troop Carrier Group and met his death August 23rd, 1942. |
