Theatre of Operation: Aisne-Marne.

Engagements: Bois de Belleau, June 2, 1918; Soisons, July 16-19, 1918.

Medals earned: Sharpshooter, Victory, Fourragers. 

Rank: Corporal.

Total Months in Service: Five months, 18 days.

Was killed in action July 19, 1918, and remains brought back to United States.  Now lies in Arlington Cemetery. 

His regiment received two citations from the French Government.
